Objective:To investigate the current status of the construction of clinical nutrition departments(CNDs)in secondary and above hospitals,and provide reference for further discipline construction of clinical nutrition departments.Methods:A cluster sampling method and a survey of questionnaire were used to investigate the current situation of clinical nutrition departments in 21 secondary and above hospitals in a city of Anhui Province.Results:The proportion of clinical nutrition departments is low.There is a shortage of clinical nutrition professionals.Clinical nutrition diagnosis and treatment facilities are lagging behind.Medical work of clinical nutrition is insufficient.And the level of teaching and research is low.Conclusion:The development of clinical nutrition departments in secondary and above hospitals surveyed in this city is uneven,and medical work is insufficient.It is still necessary for the health administrative department,hospital managers,and clinical nutrition departments to work together by emphasizing the role of clinical nutrition departments,clarifying the construction path of clinical nutrition departments,increasing the training of clinical nutrition professionals,and establishing clinical nutrition support groups(NSTs),so as to promote the construction of clinical nutrition disciplines.
