Objective:To analyze the relationship between shame, hope level, and quality of life. Methods:A prospective study was conducted, and 88 stroke hemiplegic patients admitted to the hospital from October 2021 to February 2023 were selected as the study subjects. All patients were evaluated with general situation questionnaire, chronic disease shame scale(SSCI),Herth hope scale, and quality of life assessment scale(SS-QOL).The researchers asked for baseline data and recorded the required data for the study.Correlation between shame, hope level, and quality of life in stroke patients with hemiplegia was done. Results:A total of 88 questionnaires were sent out in this study, and 86 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective rate of 97.73%.86 stroke patients with hemiplegia had a shame score range of 68~95 points, with an average score of(80.40±7.33)points.The expected level score range is 20~37 points, with an average score of(29.98±3.34)points.The quality of life score ranges from 98~195 points, with an average score of(145.50±30.50)points.The results showed that there was negative correlation between shame and hope level in stroke patients with hemiplegia(r=-0.973,-0.985;P<0.001).Conclusion:Patients with hemiplegia after stroke generally have a higher sense of shame, which is negatively correlated with their level of hope and quality of life. The higher the sense of shame is,the lower their level of hope and quality of life are.
