Present Situation and Related Factors of Fear of Childbirth in the"Post-90s"Primipara in Nanyang Area
Objective:To explore the current situation and related factors of fear of childbirth among primiparous women born in the 1990s in Nanyang Area.Methods:179 primiparous women were selected as the research subjects.The survey was conducted using a general information questionnaire,a fear of childbirth assessment scale,a delivery self-efficacy scale,a psychological resilience scale,and a social support assessment scale.Results:The detection rate of fear of childbirth among primiparous women born in the 1990s was 85.47%,and the total score of fear of childbirth was(51.23±8.50),which was at a moderate to high level.Education level,monthly family income,prenatal education and learning experience,self-efficacy during childbirth,social support and psychological resilience were the main influencing factors of childbirth fear,which can explain 48.70%of the total variation in childbirth fear(F=23.462,P<0.001).Conclusion:Medical staff should closely monitor the impact pathways of the above influencing factors on the fear of childbirth in primiparous women born after 1990s,in order to improve childbirth countermeasures,reduce the level of fear of childbirth,optimize the delivery process and outcomes.
