Effect of Targeted Tongue Pressure Resistance Training on Rehabilitation of Stroke Patients with Dysphagia
Objective:To analyze the effect of targeted tongue pressure resistance training on rehabilitation of stroke patients with dysphagia. Methods:A total of 122 stroke patients with dysphagia admitted to the Rehabilitation Department,Jianhu Clinical Medical College,Yangzhou University from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as research objects.61 patients were included in the control group, and 61 patients were included in the observation group according to the admission time. The control group and the observation group received traditional tongue pressure resistance training and target tongue pressure resistance training respectively.Tongue pressure, function and quality of life scores were compared between the two groups. Results:After intervention, tongue pressure index levels of patients were significantly increased, and the level of observation group was higher than that of control group, with statistically significant difference(t=2.056,3.117,2.368;P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of Rosenbek Penetration-aspiration Scale(PAS),oral Feeding Function Scale(FOIS),and SWAL-QOL were significantly improved in the observation group compared with the control group.PAS scores in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(t=3.081,2.674,2.976;P<0.05).Conclusion:Targeted tongue pressure resistance training for stroke patients with dysphagia disorder can effectively improve the level of tongue electromyography, improve the swallowing and feeding function, and promote the quality of life of patients.
