Objective:To study the application value of the dual loop collaborative nursing model in patients undergoing inguinal hernia surgery. Methods:A total of 100 patients who underwent inguinal hernia surgery in the hospital from October 2022 to October 2023 were divided into two groups by drawing lots. The control group(50 cases)received routine care, while the study group(50 cases)received dual loop collaborative care for intervention. The pain level, postoperative recovery indicators, and psychological status before and after intervention were compared between the two groups at different time points after surgery, and the satisfaction of the two groups of patients was evaluated. Results:The VAS scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group 1,3 and 7 days after surgery, with statistically significant difference(t=3.260,9.877,8.557;P<0.05).After surgery, the first time of getting out of bed,the first time to exhaust gas,the first time to eat food and the length of hospital stay in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=11.757,6.550,6.211,10.145;P<0.05).After intervention,SAS and SDS scores in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=5.621,4.167;P<0.05).The scores of intervention environment, intervention method, intervention skill and service attitude in the study group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant difference(t=-3.450,-2.933,-6.903,-3.730;P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of a dual loop collaborative nursing model for intervention in patients undergoing inguinal hernia surgery can reduce body pain and negative emotions, promote postoperative recovery, and improve patient satisfaction.
