Prevention and Treatment of VTE During Pregnancy and Puerperal Period
Objective:To study the prevention and treatment of VTE during pregnancy and puerperal period. Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on 160 parturient women who gave birth in our hospital from November 2021 to May 2023. According to the VTE score, the parturient women with scores >2 were divided into group A (54 cases),group B (53 cases)and group C (53 cases).Group A was treated with low molecular weight heparin combined with lower extremity pressure for treatment and prevention.Group B was treated with pulsed arteriovenous barotherapy (ICPD),group C refused to take any preventive measures. The pre-thrombotic markers, coagulation indexes and quality of life were compared between the three groups. Results:The levels of antithrombin Ⅲ(AT-Ⅲ),plasma protein C (PC),and protein S (PS)in group A were higher than those in groups B and C,while D-dimer (D-D)was lower than those in groups B and C (P<0.05 );The plasma prothrombin time (PT),activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT),and fibrinogen (Fbg)levels in group A were lower than those in groups B and C,while the thrombin time (TT)levels were higher than those in groups B and C (P<0.05);The WHO Quality of Life Scale (WHOQOL-BREF)scores in all dimensions in Group A were higher than those in Groups B and C (P<0.05).Conclusion:Scientific and effective prevention and treatment of VTE during pregnancy and puerperal period can effectively improve the level of pre-thrombotic markers and coagulation indexes, reduce the risk of VTE occurrence, and then improve the quality of life, which is worth promoting.
