Clinical Observation of Percutaneous Peritoneal Dialysis Catheterization in Obese Patients with End-Stage Renal Disease
Objective:To investigate the effect of percutaneous peritoneal dialysis catheterization in obese patients with end-stage renal disease.Methods:60 obese patients with end-stage renal disease admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were divided into two groups with 30 cases in each group by random number table method.Percutaneous peritoneal dialysis catheterization was performed in the percutaneous group, and traditional open surgery was performed in the operation group under direct vision. The operation status,short-term and long-term complications were compared between the two groups. Results:The catheterization time and hospital stay in the percutaneous group were shorter than those in the operation group, and the surgical incision length was shorter than that in the operation group, with statistical difference (P <0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of recent complications between the two groups (P>0.05).There were no significant differences in the incidence of long-term complications and the survival rate of catheterization between the two groups (P>0.05 ).Conclusion:Percutaneous peritoneal dialysis catheterization in obese patients with end-stage renal disease can effectively shorten the operation time, reduce the trauma caused by the operation,no obvious complications, safe and reliable, and provide an effective catheterization method to ensure the smooth dialysis of patients, worthy of promotion and application.
