Objective:To analyze the effect of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined with helium neon laser on patients with white lesions of the vulva.Methods:68 patients with white lesions of the external genitalia admitted to Xinfeng County Maternal and Child Health Hospital from July 2021 to July 2023 were randomly divided into two groups,with 34 cases in each group.The control group received helium neon laser treatment,while the observation group received traditional Chinese medicine fumigation treatment.One month was a course of treatment,and the treatment lasted for three courses.Compare the clinical efficacy,symptom improvement,quality of life,and recurrence rate between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the improvement time for external genital itching,vaginal pain,skin elasticity,and depigmentation was shorter than that of the control group.with a statistical difference(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05 )in the scores of each dimension in the two groups'Comprehensive Quality of Life Assessment Questionnaire (GQOLI-74);After treatment,the scores of various dimensions in GQOLI-74 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,with statistical differences(P<0.05 ).After a 3 -month follow -up,the recurrence rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,with a statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined with helium neon laser can alleviate symptoms,improve quality of life,and reduce recurrence in patients with white lesions of the vulva.
