Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of microanchorage implants on improving gingival laughter by pressing the anterior teeth.Methods:70 patients with gingival laughter admitted to Clifford Hospital in Guangdong Province from May 2021 to May 2023 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 35 cases in each group. The control group was treated with multi-purpose bow compression, and the observation group was treated with micro anchorage implant compression. The effective rate, the changes of vertical gingival volume,Overbite,UL-UI,and the difference of anterior compression length and crown length between the two groups before treatment and 3 months after treatment were compared. Results:The effective rate of correction in observation group was 94.29%,higher than that in control group (P<0.05).After treatment, the vertical gingival volume,Overbite and UL-UI values of the two groups were decreased compared with those before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05).In the observation group, the lower anterior tooth length, the difference between the central incisor, lateral incisor and cusp before correction were greater than those in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with multi-purpose bow compression of anterior teeth,micro-anchorage implants can better improve the gingival smile and improve the efficiency of correction, which is worthy of application and promotion.
