Study on Ultrasonic-Assisted PEG400 Extraction of Camptothecin from Camptotheca Acuminata Seed
Objective:To establish an organic-free extraction method by using surfactants combined with ultrasonic-assisted extraction of camptothecin from Camptotheca acuminata seeds. Methods:The surfactant was screened and its optimal concentration was determined by the solubility of surfactant in camptothecin. The single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment were conducted on the liquid-solid ratio, ultrasonic power, ultrasonic time and temperature in the extraction process. Results:The optimal extraction conditions for camptothecin with 13%PEG400 aqueous solution were liquid-solid ratio of 90:1,ultrasonic power of 540W,ultrasonic time of 90min and temperature of 25℃.Under these conditions, the extraction rate of camptothecin was 1174.59 pg/g.Conclusion:Camptothecin was successfully extracted from Camptotheca acuminata seeds with PEG400 aqueous solution, and the extraction rate was 1174.59 µg/g.
