Clinical Comparative Analysis of Tension-Free Inguinal Hernia Repair and Traditional Inguinal Hernia Surgery under Local Anesthesia
Objective:To compare the effect of tension-free hernioplasty under local anesthesia and traditional inguinal hernia surgery.Methods:60 patients with inguinal hernia treated in our hospital from January 2022 to November 2023 were randomly divided into two groups,30 cases in each group. The control group received traditional inguinal hernia surgery, and the observation group received tension-free inguinal hernia repair under local anesthesia. The perioperative indicators, postoperative recovery and complications of the two groups were compared. Results:The onset time of anesthesia and intraoperative bleeding were comparable between the two groups(P>0.05).The postoperative exhaust time, postoperative eating time, postoperative ambulation time and hos-pitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group. The hospitalization cost was lower than that of the control group,VAS score and complication rate of the control group were lower than those of the control group,Satisfaction was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Tensionless repair of inguinal hernia under local anesthesia can accelerate postoperative recovery, alleviate pain, reduce hospitalization costs and the risk of complications, and improve satisfaction. It has certain practical value and can be promoted in clinical practice.
