Application Effect of Subclavian Vein Catheterization in the Treatment of Stroke Patients and its Influence on Complications
Objective:To explore the application effect of subclavian vein catheterization in the treatment of stroke patients and its impact on complications. Methods:Sixty stroke patients admitted to the hospital from February 2021 to February 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into an observation group(n=30 cases)and a control group(n=30 cases)based on different placement of catheterization. The observation group received subclavian vein catheterization, while the control group received superficial vein needle placement.Compare the application effects(success rate of first catheterization, puncture time, indwelling time after catheterization),complications(catheter blockage, catheter prolapse, catheter infection, phlebitis),and satisfaction between two groups of patients.Resuls:The success rate of one catheterization in the observation group was 96.67%(29/30),which was significantly higher than 80.00%(24/30)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The observation group had shorter puncture time and longer indwelling time after catheterization compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The total incidence of catheter blockage, catheter detachment, infection, and phlebitis in the observation group was 6.67%(2/30),which was significantly lower than 33.33%(10/30)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total satisfaction rate of patients in the observation group was 96.67%,while the control group was 70.00%.The satisfaction rate of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application effect of subclavian vein cathe-terization in the treatment of stroke patients is significant, which can effectively improve the success rate of one-time catheterization, shorten puncture time, extend catheter retention time, reduce the incidence of complications, and be more easily recognized by patients. It has good clinical promotion value.
