Objective:To analyze the influencing factors of postoperative nausea and vomiting(PONV)in orthopedic patients and the effect of aromatherapy intervention. Methods:The study period of this experiment was from January 2023 to August 2023.80 patients with orthopaedic surgery were selected and randomly divided into the study group and the control group with 40 patients in each group by random number table method. The control group received conventional treatment and nursing, and the research group combined aromatherapy on this basis, collected clinical characteristics of patients, and established a Logistic regression model to explore the related influencing factors of PONV according to whether PONV occurred, and compared the occurrence rate, occurrence time and severity of PONV in the two groups within 24h after surgery. Results:The PONV occurrence rate of the study group was lower than that of the control group after 0~6h,7~12h and 13~24h operation(P<0.05).The PONV severity of the study group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The PONV duration in the study group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis of postoperative nausea and vomiting in orthopedic patients, including PONV occurrence rate,PONV occurrence time and PONV severity(P<0.05).Conclusion:Postoperative PONV in orthopaedic patients is affected by the occurrence rate, occurrence time and severity of PONV.Aromatherapy intervention can ensure the prognostic effect and has high practical value.
