Application of Vertebral Artery Color Ultrasound in the Treatment and Monitoring of Asymptomatic Moderate Vertebral Artery Stenosis
Objective:To investigate the application value of vertebral artery color ultrasound in the treatment and monitoring of a-symptomatic moderate vertebral artery stenosis. Methods:Thirty patients with asymptomatic moderate vertebral artery stenosis admitted to our hospital from August 2021 to February 2023 were selected as the study objects. All enrolled patients received standardized drug therapy+health guidance, and vertebral artery Doppler color ultrasound(color ultrasound)was performed before treatment and 6 months after treatment. The vertebral artery diameter, the nature, morphology and hemodynamics of vertebral atherosclerotic plaque were compared before and after 6 months of treatment. Results:There were no significant differences in vertebral artery diameter and the nature and shape of vertebral atherosclerotic plaque before and after treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,PSV,EDV,PI and RI indexes of the two groups were improved, but there was no significant difference compared with before treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:Vertebral artery color Doppler ultrasound has a good effect in the treatment and monitoring of asymptomatic moderate vertebral artery stenosis patients.Standardized drug therapy plus health guidance can effectively control the progression of asymptomatic moderate vertebral artery stenosis patients.
