Application of Nasal High Flow Humidified Oxygen Therapy in Invasive Ventilation Withdrawal Machine
Objective:To study the application of nasal high flow humidified oxygen therapy in invasive ventilation withdrawal. Methods:Sixty patients with invasive ventilation withdrawal from July 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into the conventional group(30 cases)and the study group(30 cases)(random number table method). The conventional group received traditional bubble humidification nasal catheter oxygen inhalation, and the study group received nasal high-flow humidification oxygen therapy. The rate of re-intubation,successful rate of invasive ventilation withdrawal and length of ICU stay were compared between the two groups in 24~48h.Results:The clinical indicators of the research group were better than those of the conventional group(P<0.05);The 24-hour and 48-hour re intubation rates in the research group were lower than those in the control group, and the success rate of invasive ventilation weaning was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in pH between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the PaO2level in the study group was higher than that in the control group, while the PaCO2 level was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05);After intervention, the heart rate and respiratory rate of the research group were lower than those of the control grou(P<0.05).Conclusion:Nasal high-flow humidified oxygen therapy can effectively improve the clinical indicators of patients, reduce the rate of reintubation, increase the success rate of invasive ventilation withdrawal, and then improve the airway status, heart rate and respiratory rate of patients, which is worth promoting.
