Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of self-made Chinese medicine encapsulation in patients with lumbar general anesthesia and its effect on reducing the incidence of postoperative abdominal distension.Methods:120 patients undergoing lumbar spine general anesthesia admitted to our hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were randomly divided into two groups, each with 60 cases, and included in the observation group and the control group. The observation group received self-made traditional Chinese medicine packaging and hot compress treatment, while the control group received routine treatment.Evaluate and compare the efficacy, postoperative recovery indicators, gastrointestinal function indicators, and stress indicators between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);The postoperative recovery time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05);The levels of gastrin, motilin, and gastrointestinal substance P in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);The levels of C-reactive protein(CRP),cortisol(Cor),and norepinephrine(NE)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of self-made Chinese medicine encapsulation therapy in patients with lumbar general anesthesia has obvious effects on relieving abdominal distension, improving gastrointestinal function and alleviating stress reaction, and has good curative effect, which has reference and application value.
