Comparison of Differences in Psychological Status and Medication Adherence among Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction in Different Age Groups after Interventional Treatment
Objective:To explore the psychological status and medication adherence of patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI)in different age groups after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)treatment.Methods:213 AMI patients who were admitted from July 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into a young group(n=84),a middle-aged group(n=61),an elderly group(n=48),and an elderly group(n=20)according to their age groups. All patients received PCI intervention treatment, and were followed up continuously for 6 months after discharge.Compare the psychological status(SAS,SDS scores)and medication adherence of four groups of patients at discharge and 6 months after discharge. Results:The SAS and SDS scores of the four groups of patients at 6 months after discharge decreased compared to the discharge scores, while the scores decreased significantly. The two scores at 6 months after discharge were lower in the youth group than in the middle-aged group, lower in the middle-aged group than in the elderly group, and lower in the elderly group than in the elderly group. The relative difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);The evaluation of medication compliance 6 months after discharge showed that the compliance rate was highest in the youth group and lowest in the elderly group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:PCI intervention surgery is helpful for improving the psychological status of AMI patients. The degree of postoperative psychological improvement decreases with age,and young people have higher medication compliance, while older adults have lower medication compliance.Corresponding guidance should be given.
