Epidemiological Characteristics of Mycoplasma Pneumoniae Infection in Children in Ningde Area from 2020 to 2023
Objective:To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of mycoplasma pneumoniae(MP)infection in children from 2020 to 2023 in Ningde District.Methods:The clinical data and MP nucleic acid test results of 11199 children with respiratory tract infection in Ningde area from 2020 to 2023 were collected,and MP infection in different years,age,sex,disease type and season were analyzed.Results:MP nucleic acid test results of 11199 children showed that 3195 cases were positive for MP,accounting for 28.53%,and 8004 cases were negative,accounting for 71.47%.The positive rate of MP increased year by year from 2020 to 2023(P<0.05).The higher the age was,the higher the positive detection rate was(P<0.05),and the highest positive detection rate was in the age range of 7-14 years.The positive rate of MP in women was higher than that in men(32.39%VS 25.30%,P<0.05).The positive rate of MP in upper respiratory tract infection was higher than that in lower respiratory tract infection(26.54%VS 32.64%,P<0.05).The positive detection rate of MP was different in different seasons(P<0.05),and the positive detection rate in summer was the highest,followed by that in winter.Conclusion:From 2020 to 2023,the infection rate of MP in children's respiratory tract in Ningde area increased year by year.The infection rate of MP in girls was higher than that in boys,and the infection rate of MP in upper respiratory tract was higher than that in lower respiratory tract,mostly in preschool and school-age children,with the highest incidence in summer and autumn.
