Objective:Exploring the application effect of painless delivery in individuals with a tendency to prolong the latent period of labor. Methods:Select 60 cases of pregnant women with a tendency towards prolonged latent period of labor admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to April 2024,and divide them into two groups of 30 cases each using a random number table method. The control group was given conventional delivery, and the observation group was given painless delivery.Compare the duration of labor, labor pain, pain stress levels, maternal and infant outcomes, and postpartum recovery between two groups. Results:Observation group's duration of each stage of labor was shorter than control group's,with statistical difference(P<0.05);Observation group's pain score during childbirth after analgesia was lower than control group's,and the levels of norepinephrine(NE),cortisol(COR),and adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH)were all lower than control group's,with statistical significance(P<0.05);Observation group's incidence of adverse maternal and infant outcomes was lower than control group's,and the postpartum recovery time was shorter than control group's,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Painless delivery has a good application effect in those who tend to prolong the latent period of labor, which is conducive to shortening the labor process time, reducing labor pain and pain stress, improving maternal and infant outcomes, and accelerating postpartum recovery speed.
