Effect of Bladder Function Training Combined with Intermediate Frequency Pulse Electrotherapy on the Recovery of Bladder Function and the Incidence of Urinary Incontinence in Patients after TURP
Objective:To investigate the effect of bladder function training combined with intermediate frequency pulse electrotherapy on the recovery of bladder function and the incidence of urinary incontinence in patients after transurethral resection of the prostate(TURP).Methods:72 cases of patients after TURP in our hospital from January 2022 to March 2024 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,36 cases in each group.The control group received bladder function training,and the observation group received intermediate frequency pulse electrotherapy on the basis of control group.21 days was a course of treatment.Bladder function,urinary incontinence and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results:Before the intervention,there was no statistical difference in bladder function,BPHQLS score and I-QOL score between the two groups(P＞0.05);After the intervention,the maximum urinary flow rate,the maximum urinary volume of bladder BPHQLS score The I-QOL score of the observation group was higher than that before the intervention,and the maximum urinary flow rate,maximum urinary volume of the bladder BPHQLS score The I-QOL score was higher than that of the control group.The residual urine volume of the two groups was lower than that before the intervention,and the residual urine volume of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,with statistical difference(P＜0.05).The incidence of urinary incontinence in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,with statistical difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Bladder function training combined with intermediate frequency pulse elec-trotherapy can improve the bladder function of patients after TURP,reduce the incidence of urinary incontinence,and improve the quality of life.
