Inheritance and Reconstruction:Visual Design Transformation of Regional Cultural Symbols
From the perspective of semiotics,based on regional culture,this special concept of"regional cultural symbols"is derived,and its connotation and application value are explained.Based on the basic theory and practical methods of visual design,the connotation and specific expression of regional cultural symbols are sorted and decomposed.Based on the particularity of visual design,regional cultural symbols are generally divided into two categories:explicit visual symbols and implicit spiritual symbols.Visual design principles,methods,and concepts for both types of symbols are proposed.Using innovative visual design methods to revitalize regional culture,further promoting public attention and understanding of regional culture,and thus promoting the inheritance and innovative development of regional culture.
