Design of Children's Digital Interactive Picture Books Based on Embodied Cognition
Through the study of embodied cognition theory, this paper analyzes the embodied cognitive characteristics of children's reading and explores interactive picture book design methods to enhance children's reading interest and experience.Firstly,it organizes the current development status of interactive picture books for children.Secondly,it analyzes the importance of cognitive characteristics and embodied cognitive behaviors in children's reading for enhancing their reading experience. Finally, based on the features of embodied cognition theory, the cognitive process of children reading interactive picture books is divided into three experiential stages:focusing on visual, auditory, and tactile embodied experiences;emphasizing situational experiences based on neurological, physiological, and motor systems;and generating experiences based on cognition and imagination.Design strategies for interactive picture books are proposed based on these three experiential stages of embodied cognition, aiming to provide reference for the interactive design of children's picture books.
