Study on the Reconstruction Strategy of Rural Public Space from the Perspective of Participatory Design
Rural public space refers to the place where villagers can enter and exit freely in rural settlements. As an important part of rural public space, ancestral hall is the historical legacy of the countryside, and it is also the condensation ground of family blood and geography. The special"timeliness"of ancestral temples is reflected in the fact that most ancestral temples are idle buildings during non-sacrificial time. Therefore,it is hoped that the space of ancestral temples can be used as a sightseeing space during non-sacrificial time by means of redesign. The He Family Ancestral Hall in Yikoukua Village of Chuxiong City is taken as the research object, and its architectural space is redesigned while retaining its original architectural appearance as much as possible.By adding part of new space and giving the building new functions, the ancestral hall space can be fully utilized during non-sacrificial time and the interaction between the building and users can be enhanced. Then it provides a reference scheme for rural revitalization.
