The Application of the Aesthetic Interest of Plant Grain on Chu Silk Fabric in Contemporary Design
In order to solve the problems of low public awareness of Chu culture,simple design products using Chu patterns,stiff combination of patterns and products,and difficult to integrate into modern life,this paper analyzes the aesthetic characteristics and cultural connotation of Chu plant patterns from the perspectives of image science and design science.And through deformation,recombination,reconstruction and other methods to Chu plant pattern and modern design products combined.From the practice,it is concluded that Chu plant pattern is rich in shape,with the characteristics of harmonious beauty,smart beauty and free beauty,reflecting Chu people's aesthetic interest,value pursuit and spiritual quality.Drawing inspiration from pattern shape and aesthetic connotation,it is applied in contemporary design,providing new ideas and reference for the design of traditional pattern in modern products.
