Research on Art Healing Based on Wearable Technology
The purpose of this paper is to establish the connection between receptive and expressive healing in art healing and the application of wearable technology, and to expand the discussion in this field.Since its birth, modern wearable technology has been regarded as the product of the integration of machine logic coding and human perception. As a non-directed healing method, art healing usually constructs a sensory system through single sensory intervention(such as vision, hearing, smell)or complex sensory experience(such as immersive space,audio-visual synesthesia).Unlike traditional art healing, which relies mainly on audiovisual media, wearable technology enables receptive and expressive healing more effectively through direct sensory intervention based on touch. This study discusses the intervention of wearable technology in art healing from three aspects:complex dream, mental prosthetics and perceptual extension. The compound dream section discusses how to create a deep somatosensory intervention mechanism by combining a variety of stimuli that act on the senses of various parts of the body,so as to produce an immersive psychological experience. In the part of mental prosthetics, external devices are used to fill in the lack of physical perception of the experiencer,or extend the physical perception of the experiencer. The part of perceptual extension discusses how to expand individual perceptual experience through wearable devices.
