Design Aesthetics and the Inheritance and Development of Chinese Aesthetic Spirit:Reviews of the Second Academic Forum of Design Aesthetics Professional Committee of Chinese Aesthetic Society
The second Academic Forum of Design Aesthetics Professional Committee of Chinese Aesthetics Society was successfully held in Soochow University in April 2024.Based on local design practice,the 52 scholars who spoke promoted the theoretical construction process of design aesthetics in China through interdisciplinary research paradigm.To promote the development of design aesthetics in China,we should take the rich resources in the excellent traditional Chinese culture as the spiritual core,and transform this aesthetic spirit into a modern one from the standpoint,perspective and method of design.Only in this way can we really provide corresponding cultural care and theoretical support for the development of local design.
