Research on the Application of Regional Visual Symbols in the Packaging Design of Agricultural Products
Under the background of promoting the rural revitalization strategy in an all-round way,taking the packaging of agricultural products as the research object,the application characteristics and methods of regional visual symbols in packaging design were discussed.Based on semiotics theory,case analysis method and image analysis method were adopted to explore the signifier and referent of various visual symbols in the packaging design of agricultural products and their application effects from five aspects:shape symbol,graphic symbol,text symbol,color symbol and material symbol.This proves that the corresponding relationship between signifier and signified in the packaging design of agricultural products is conducive to the development of agricultural products brand and the spread of regional culture.The author also put forward the design strategy of agricultural product packaging that relies on regional culture to draw inspiration,use multiple symbols to express,and rely on innovation to enhance the value of The Times,which provides ideas for its design practice.
