Rural building facades are the embodiment of rural style, but with the process of urbanization, rural building facades are becoming less and less"vernacular".Based on the background of construction and beauty countryside, this paper focuses on the facade reconstruction of rural houses, adopts IPA analysis method and field investigation method, takes the facade of rural houses in Suzhou as the research object, analyzes the reasons why the facade of rural houses is no longer rural, and supplements the practical research on rural cultural landscape from the user's perspective. The research results show that the collapse of the acquaintance society, the disturbance of architectural forms brought by the highly mobile social background, and the single updating method brought by the information explosion are the user-level explanations for the rural house facades that are no longer vernacular. On the one hand, the rural users are concerned about the coexistence of function and economy; On the other hand is the integration of practicality and vernacular. In view of the two needs concerned by users, this paper proposes the strategy of integrating with the physical space of the building to renew the house facade, considering regional attributes in the renewal, paying attention to user usage scenarios and situations, and replacing the overall reconstruction with local renewal,so as to make up for the lack of strategic research based on actual user groups in the existing research, and provide support for the follow-up research on rural cultural landscape.
