The acceleration of the contemporary urbanization process leads to the oppression of the urban natural environment and the slow innovation of the traditional fixed mode of urban natural environment design.Therefore,the urban natural environment design urgently needs a comprehensive concept to balance the needs of urban development and ecological protection,and the rewilding design concept comes into being.The combination of rewilding design concept and urban natural environment design reflects a new model of harmonious coexistence between human and nature,providing better natural experience for urban residents.By first analyzing the current situation of urban natural environment,and then the root and meaning of rewilding design concept,this paper introduces the unique rewilding design method of Henri Matisse Park designed by French landscape architect Gilles Clement,summarizes its design methods and analyzes its inspiration to urban natural environment design.Strive to create a unique natural and eco-friendly urban environment,and explore a new way to achieve harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
