Because of its good bearing capacity,mortise and tenon process was widely used in the construction field of furniture and house skeleton in ancient China,but with the rapid development of social economy and science and technology,the process could not meet the needs of modern people in product cost,production cycle and material selection,and was gradually marginalized by The Times.By studying the construction technology,artistic elements and cultural connotation of traditional mortise and tenon craft,this paper probes into its innovative path in the process of aesthetic transformation,in order to provide new strategies and new ideas for its contemporary design application.
