High-quality university image and campus cultural environment are important manifestations of the brand value of a university.Research on the construction of a university visual image identification system with internationalization,standardization,humanization and belonging can enhance the core competitiveness of high-quality development of a university.This paper combs the development history of the visual image identification system in domestic colleges and universities,analyzes the existing problems of the visual image identification system in domestic colleges and universities,uses investigation method and case analysis method to explore the application problems of the visual image identification system of Miami Dade College in the United States,draws lessons from its design and construction experience,and studies the operation mode and update development strategy of the visual image identification system in domestic colleges and universities.Through the concise,human culture,contextualization and daily aesthetic design of the visual images such as the school emblem,school name,school motto,standard colors,auxiliary graphics and campus brand logo,the school spreads the cultural history,spiritual characteristics and core values of the school,stimulates the perception and experience of thinking,emotional and behavioral levels,and forms a deep cultural identity.
