It systematically combs the knowledge theories related to holistic thinking and logo design,extracts the specific concepts in holistic thinking,explores the value of applying holistic thinking to rural logo design,uses holistic thinking to provide theoretical basis for rural logo design,and provides appropriate reference for solving problems such as non-standard,homogenization and uniformity of rural signs.This paper analyzes the guiding role of four overall thinking levels of symmetry,moderation,double and connection on rural sign form,explores the performance of overall thinking in rural sign design,further expands the boundaries of rural sign design,and deeply explores the important significance of rural sign design under the guidance of overall thinking for rural revitalization strategy.
