As the memory symbol and material carrier of Nuo culture in Meishan,the Nuo mask reflects the religious beliefs,folk customs and aesthetic concepts of the people in Meishan area.This paper aims to explore the inheritance ideas of Meishan Nuo mask from the perspective of cultural gene and the theory of cultural structure hierarchy,construct the cultural gene map of Meishan Nuo mask from three aspects:external representation form,intermediate social production and life,and internal ideology,and propose the cultural innovation design strategy of Meishan Nuo mask according to the map.In the process of constructing the cultural gene map of Meishan Nuo mask,the knowledge system of Meishan Nuo mask is comprehensively sorted out and a clear knowledge framework is formed.At the same time,this research plays a reference role in the construction of cultural gene maps of other regions.
