摘要
格雷厄姆·格林在其代表作《布赖顿棒糖》中构建了一个介于现代与原始的"边界"空间,从"边界"书写的角度来看,这部作品呈现了格林对现代与原始的辩证性思考.格林以侦探叙事揭示现代世俗的真相与混乱,同时以惊悚叙事呈现原始恐惧的本真性,由此呈现出现代世俗与原始恐惧、本真与非本真之间的辩争,世俗正义与个体正义之间的伦理博弈又使原始本真陷入伦理困境.文本内部多重观念的辩争是作家在"危险的边界"保持独立思想的结果,这也是格林小说创作的重要特点之一.
Abstract
Graham Greene constructs an edge space between modern and primitive in his Brighton Rock.From the perspective of edge writing,this work presents Greene's dialectical thinking on modern and primitive.With detective narrative,it reveals the truth and chaos of modern secular society,and with thriller narrative,presents the authenticity of primitive fear,all of which are projected into an ethical dilemma.The debate of those multiple concepts is the result of Greene's independent thinking in the dangerous edge.
