A Study on Talent Cultivation in International Chinese Language Education from the Perspective of Interdisciplinary Integration
Interdisciplinary integration is the trend of discipline development in China in the new era.It has become the consensus of the academic community that International Chinese Language Education has the attribute of interdisciplinarity.From the per-spective of interdisciplinary integration,there are some dilemmas in the talent cultivation of International Chinese Language Ed-ucation:a deviation existing between the professional attribution of the discipline and the nature of the specific cultivation insti-tutes at the master's and doctoral levels,a gap existing between the curriculum setting and the achievement of cultivation goals at each training stage,the teaching practice link being weak,the employment situation of graduates being unsatisfactory,the application of new technologies being relatively lagging behind,and the enrollment numbers of doctoral student is insufficient.Based on the analysis of the above problems,feasible solutions to address the challenges in cultivating talents for international Chinese education include:becoming an interdisciplinary field in the academic discipline catalog;leveraging the advantages of interdisciplinary integration;strengthening internship and practical teaching to improve graduates'professional competency;en-hancing the application of new technologies;and increasing the enrollment numbers of doctoral students in the discipline.
