Historical Experience of 100 Years of Chinese Language and Literature Education——Written on the Occasion of the Publication of"I Read Chinese at Henan University"
The column I Studied Chinese at Henan University has published nearly two hundred reminiscence articles,which con-struct a collective memory based on personal memories.These essays,in the nature of an oral history of education,are impor-tant historical materials for the study of changes in literary education in the last hundred years.Based on these living historical materials,the historical experience of a hundred years of Chinese language and literature education at Henan University is sys-tematically summarized in four aspects,namely,academic inheritance and knowledge innovation,talent cultivation and con-struction of academic style,improvement of the mechanism of literary education,construction of curricula and teaching materi-als as well as the art of teaching.Inspired by the experience of learning from history,and with the mission of cultural inherit-ance and innovation,we promote the construction of disciplines and the cultivation of talents by adhering to academic leader-ship,stimulating the passion for knowledge,strengthening the exchange between teachers and students,inheriting the tradi-tion of the art of teaching,and establishing the ideal of dedicating oneself to the cause of literature.The historical change of Chinese language and literature education in Henan University is related to the overall situation of Chinese language and litera-ture education in China in the past hundred years,and provides a useful reference for promoting the current reform of literary education.
