Early childhood is a crucial period for the development of individual language skills.Currently, most kindergartens rely on the"Guidelines for the Learning and Development of Children Aged 3~6"as the basis for language education. However, the language education goals outlined in these guidelines are overly general and vague.Considering the characteristics of early childhood neural development and language learning principles, language education in kindergartens should focus on seven relatively specific goals:mastering pronunciation, vocabulary acquisition, fostering language sensitivity, enhancing listening skills, practicing expression, promoting cognitive development, and gaining experiential knowledge. These goals are interrelated and build upon each other, forming an ongoing and progressive cycle.
