Pathways for the Development and Cultivation of Global Competence in College Students
Driven by the internationalization of higher education,global competence has become a key issue in the progressive development of Chinese universities and the optimal cultivation of talents.Based on the theory of PISA 2018 global competence assessment,698 valid samples were obtained through a questionnaire,and the sample were analyzed by SPSS 27.0 software.It is found that the current global competence of college students is generally at the middle level,and there are distinctive difference between college students in specific dimensions.What's more,all variables show positive correlation,and the students'knowledge,skills,attitudes and values in global competence have a significant positive impact on their global competence practice.Accordingly,the cultivation of globally competent talents in colleges and universities should be enhanced by adherence to the concept of internationalization,the construction of an inte rnationaliz ed curriculum system,the establishment of an internationalized nurturing platform,and the creation of an internationalized faculty,in order to improve college students'global competence,and to promote the internationalization of China's higher education.
