Self-revolution provides a paradigm of internal political party governance on how to stay in power for long term and maintain flesh-and-blood ties with the masses for the world's largest Marxist ruling party.The century-old history of the Party is also a century-old history of self-revolution.Through the exploration in the period of the new democratic revolution,the framework of the practice of self-revolution of the Communist Party of China was initially formed.After the inheritance in the period of socialist revolution and the innovative development in the new period of reform and opening up,the theory and practice of self-revolution have matured in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.It has formed a scientific connotation with self-purification as the basic premise,self-improvement as the important guarantee,self-innovation as the key link,and self-improvement as the ultimate direction.It has managed to constantly achieve new results by self-revolution with the"four selves".In a hundred years of practice,we have accumulated valuable experience with political construction as the guideline,ideological construction as the foundation,organizational construction as the carrier,style construction as the core,and discipline construction as the starting point.
