Evaluation of the Professional Development of New Ideological and Political Teachers in Normal Universities in the New Era——A Case Study of Five Normal Colleges in Shaanxi Province
New ideological and political teachers are the main force of ideological and political education in normal colleges and universities,and the key training objects in the construction of excellent ideological and political teachers in the new era.Taking five local normal colleges in Shaanxi Province as examples,the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was used to investigate and analyze the 26 indicators of the ideological and political teachers entering from 2020 to 2022 in 4 aspects:the overall understanding of ideological and political education,teaching skills,scientific research ability training and work adaptation.The results show that the new ideological and political teachers can adhere to the correct political stance and love the cause of normal education;they can realize the transformation of identity and role,and gradually learn to interact with students;they have a clear scientific research direction,and most of them have the intention to continue to pursue academic studies;they can actively participate in the activities organized by the CPC organizations.At the same time,the new ideological and political teachers also have some problems or puzzles.In basic teaching,they have difficulties in the transformation and application of"two systems".Their understanding of the importance of scientific research is not comprehensive,and the basic skills are weak.The use of diversified means and methods of ideological and political education is insufficient.Therefore,the new ideological and political teachers should improve their professional positioning,realize the system transformation and teaching practice innovation.They should also strengthen their scientific research thinking to improve their basic scientific research ability and promote the co-development of their own political quality and ability in ideological and political education to accelerate their professional development.
