College students are the backbone of socialist modernization in the new era,so it is crucial to cultivate their sense of social responsibility,which is directly related to the future of the country and the nation.As an effective means of ideological and political education for college students,peer role model education plays a strong guiding role in cultivating college students'sense of social responsibility.At present,there are deficiencies in the cultivation of college students'sense of social responsibility in aspects as basic cognition,emotional attitude,and action measures.For this reason,we can explore the cultivation path of college students'sense of social responsibility based on peer role models from three aspects:creating typical role model demonstrations,improving the innovation of role model publicity,and creating an environment led by role models,so as to activate college students'consciousness of taking and fulfilling responsibilities and enhance their sense of social responsibility.
