Youth"meme"culture refers to allusions or segments that are widely known and used by the youth group,and have evolved into new referential relationships through such forms as collage,variation,and abbreviation,often carrying connotations of mockery,banter,and playfulness.Youth"meme"culture presents diverse forms and exhibits cultural characteristics including extensive imitation and replication,short life cycles,concise verbal expression,diversified content variation,and implicit value orientation.The updating and iteration of network technologies,the inherent needs of the youth group,and the emerging social events are all important driving forces for the formation of youth"meme"culture.Against the background of the growing popularity of youth"meme"culture,it is necessary to guide young people to create memes scientifically,play with memes moderately,and resist vulgar memes.This will enable youth"meme"culture to exert positive value in a healthy and progressive online ecology,and become an innovative expression for spreading positive energy and promoting youth communication.
