Public Participation and Rural Residents'Public Service Quality Evaluation
The democratic participation of farmers is an important guarantee for achieving rural revitaliza-tion.Based on the data of China Comprehensive Social Survey(CGSS),this study empirically tests the impact of public participation on the evaluation of public service quality among rural residents.Research has found that public participation has narrowed the distance,while enhanced the interaction between the government and the people,and thus improved rural residents'evaluation on public service quality.From the perspective of participation effectiveness,there is a positive relationship between the effectiveness of participation process and results and the evaluation of quality of public services for rural residents,with"effective participation results"having a greater promoting effect;From the perspective of participation convenience,convenience in make suggestions has a positive impact on villagers'evaluation on public service quality.In promoting the practice of rural revitalization,farmers'main position should be high-lighted,and a public service participation ecology guided by "people's satisfaction"should be construc-ted;in the meantime,participation feedback mechanism,participation channels,farmers'participation literacy and ability should be improved by adapting measures.Also,rural digital construction and guid-ance on residents'participation in online activities should be strengthened.
