Impact and Countermeasuresagainst Multiple Risk Stacking on China's Food Security
Affected by factors such as geopolitical conflicts, extreme weather and growing prevalence of trade protectionism, the instability of the global food market has significantly increased. On the one hand,India and other major grain exporting countries have implemented grain export restriction policies to ensure their own food security;on the other hand, extreme weather occurs frequently under the El Nino phenomenon, and the trend ofgeopolitical economics conflicts, triggering a new rise round of inter-national food prices and impacting the international supply chain of China's grain imports. In order to en-sure food security of China,it is necessary to further optimize the feed grain production structure,effec-tively reduce the post-production loss rate of grain, accelerate the cultivation of large transnational grain private enterprises, promote Chinese grain enterprises to layout the global grain industrial chain and sup-ply chain, and intensify the risk prevention efforts in the futures market.
