数字经济赋能农业全要素生产率增长:效应与机制

基于2011-2022年省级面板数据,通过构建农业数字经济指数和农业全要素生产率测算模型,实证检验数字经济对农业全要素生产率增长的赋能效应,并从要素错配角度探究其背后的作用机制.研究发现,数字经济发展显著促进了农业全要素生产率增长,并且这主要体现在技术效率改善和技术进步上.机制检验表明,数字经济主要通过改善资本错配和土地错配赋能农业全要素生产率增长,而通过缓解劳动力错配提升农业全要素生产率的机制尚不明显.异质性分析发现,在东部地区、农业生产率和数字经济发展水平越高的省份,数字经济对农业全要素生产率的增长效应更为突出.进一步的空间计量分析表明,数字经济对农业全要素生产率增长的赋能效果具有显著且正向的空间外溢性,并且这种溢出更易发生在经济发展水平相近的地区之间.
Digital Economy Empowers Agricultural Total Factor Productivity Growth:Effects and Mechanisms
Based on the provincial panel data of China from 2011 to 2022,this paper investigated the enabling effect of digital economy on agricultural total factor productivity(TFP)growth by constructing an agricultural digital economy index and an agricultural TFP calculation model,and explored its under-lying mechanism from the perspective of factors misallocation.The results indicate that the development of digital economy has significantly promoted the growth of agricultural TFP,which is mainly reflected in the improvement of technical efficiency and technological progress.Mechanism testing shows that the digital economy mainly empowers agricultural TFP growth by improving capital and land misallocation,while the mechanism of alleviating labor misallocation is not yet obvious.Heterogeneity analysis found that in the eastern regions,provinces with higher levels of agricultural TFP and digital economy develop-ment,the growth effect of digital economy on agricultural TFP was more prominent.Further spatial econ-ometric analysis shows that digital economy empowers agricultural TFP growth has a significant and posi-tive spatial spillover effect,and this spillover is more likely to occur between regions with similar levels of economic development.
