Comparative Analysis of Physiological Characteristics,Yield, and Quality of Herbicide-Resistant Transgenic Rapeseed
In order to evaluate the new material of herbicide-resistant transgenic rapeseed with the Bar gene, six new herbicide-resistant transgenic rapeseeds, with three from sterile line and three from restorer line, were studied. The differences in their physiological characteristics, yield, and quality were compared. The results showed that the SOD activity of all materials except for T210 was similar during the seedling stage, with T210 showing a low SOD activity.T213 and T223 had the highest SOD activity during the 5-6 leaf stage, and T213 had the highest SOD activity during the bud stage.T216 showed the highest peroxidase(POD)activity during the seedling stage,5-6 leaf stage, and bud stage, and the soluble sugar content of T213 and T216 increased with the growth period. The soluble protein content of T210 was the highest during the seedling stage, while that of T223 was the lowest.T213 had the highest soluble protein content, and T216 had the lowest content in the bud stage. The soluble protein content of T211 increased with the growth period.T210 had the highest yield per plant, followed by T223 and T203.T223 had the largest total number of pods, followed by T207 and T213,and T210 had the least total number of pods.T207 had the highest oil and oleic acid content, followed by T216.By considering physiological characteristics, quality, and yield,T207 was the best material of the sterile line, and T223 was the best material of the restorer line.
