Study on Insect Diversity of Forest Community in Xiaoqinling Nature Reserve
According to the investigation and analysis on insect diversity of 72 vegetation plots among seven kinds of forest communities in Xiaoqinling natural reserve of Henan province,similarity of insect community was compared in different forest communities.The result indicated that a total of 517 species belonging to 79 families in 14 orders were identified,of which Coleoptera,Lepidoptera,Heteroptera,Hymenoptera and Orthoptera were the major orders.The highest diversity of insect community was in broad leaved mixed forest and mixed coniferous broad leaved forest,moderate diversity was in Abies chensiensis forest,Pinus tabuliformis forest and Pinus armandii forest,and the lowest was in bamboo forest.Higher similarity of insect community was observed between mixed coniferous broad leaved forest and the others,and which was lower between bamboo forest and the others.
