Correspondence Analysis between Grazing Intensity and Height of Main Population and Community
In order to discuss the effects of grazing intensity on plant height in desert grassland, the interaction relationship between the grazing intensity and the plant height of main population and community was researched by studying the plant height of population and community through variance component analysis and correspondence analysis method. The results showed that there was significant difference in the population height of Stipa breviflora ,Artemisia frigida and Cleistogenes mutica between different grazing intensity, and no significant difference in the community height. The Q factor analysis results showed that the varying order of the plant height in different grazing intensity was no grazed > lightly grazed > moderately grazed > heavily grazed. The R factor analysis results showed that the plant height order of populations and community was plant community > Stipa breviflora > Artemisia frigida > Cleistogenes mutica.Correspondence analysis showed that increasing the grazing intensity could reduce the height of main plant populations and community. The plant height of Stipa breviflora populations and plant community had been more sensitive under heavily and moderately grazing intensity. The plant height of Artemisia frigida and Cleistogenes mutica populations had been sensitive under no and light grazing intensity.
