The Influence of Reason-Blending Parenting on the Sense of Life Meaning of Top-Notch Student
Focusing on the social goals of improving the quality of meaning in the lives of top-notch students and reducing"Rat race"and depression,based on the data from the freshmen survey of top research universities and using regression analysis and the me-diating effect of the KHB,the study found that the reason-blending parenting can significantly improve the sense of meaning in the lives of top-notch students.It is the original force of their pursuit of life,meaning goal,exploration,and perception of meaning.The reason-blending parenting could promote the development of the sense of meaning of top-notch students through the enhancement of endogenous motivation(comprehensive ability,motivation to learn,and self-efficacy)and external support.Despite the differences in the contribu-tion of each mediating channel at different stages of the development of the meaning of life,the contribution of endogenous motivation was higher than that of extrnal support,and intrinsic learning motivation was higher than extrinsic learning motivation.Family education should hold on to the concept of reason-blending parenting.While emphasizing the development of individual comprehensive ability,in-trinsic motivation,and self-efficacy,it should also strengthen the cooperation between home,school,and society to help individuals ob-tain more external support to facilitate the healthy development of the sense of the meaning of life of the top-notch students.
