Objective To explore the clinical value of the auxiliary value of Montelukast in the treatment of bronchial asth-ma. Methods 106 hospitalized clavicular fracture patients of our hospital from January 2014 to March 2015 were divided two groups, patients in control group were treated with conventional therapy combined with atomization inhalation of budesonide , while patients in research group were treated with Montelukast on the basis of the former. After the end of treatment, compare the pulmonary function, clinical curative effect and duration of symptoms of these two groups. Results After the treatment, the pulmonary function (PEF, FEV1, FEV1/FVC) of research group were considerably better than control group, clinical total ef-fective rate was significantly higher than control group, the symptoms durations of chest tightness, wheezing and coughing were markedly shorter than control group. Conclusion Auxiliary application of Montelukast in the treatment of bronchial asthma would contribute to improving pulmonary function, clinical curative effect as well as shortening the duration of symptoms, and thus has a promising prospect.
